Creating Difference: Overcoming Barriers to Diversity in UK Film and Television Employment, is a research study designed and conducted by a team from the Creative Industries Research and Consultancy Unit (CIRCU) at the University of Hertfordshire.
The Creating Difference team have also prepared eight case studies of individuals and entrepreneurs who have been successful in the film and television sector, which we hope will inspire the next generation of practitioners from underrepresented groups.
We hope that Creating Difference will contribute to our understanding of the barriers that hold back diversity in the UK film and television sector and inform initiatives aimed at overcoming these barriers.
